What I want to Draw...

So I have decided that I need to draw more people, and not the ones I think up in my ye olde head! I keep on drawing my characters and I'm happy how they are turning out but they lack form, gesture, and kick-ass poses. What I'm saying really is I'm going to go out and draw more life drawings, pictures or people I see, do some memory sketches, do more loose sketches to get the form, and eventually come out with a better idea in posing. I'll still draw some new characters in the process but I want to really focus on working up how I draw my characters and how they move.

Don't worry though cause I'm working on a project with some friends and that has some work that I have been doing. Hopefully I will post some of it on here and show what I'm working on cause I haven't been posting much work on here. So look forward to seeing more sketchbook work, character design, and some colored work! To those who follow or read this blog, thanks and stay tuned for some more artwork coming up in the future. Count Drake

So here is Dracula's teenage son, Drake. I actually was about to finish him with the first design then stop and spent some time redrawing the head and how the body moves. I like the outcome of the head and the body too so hope you all enjoy! Probably some time later this week I'm going to put up Barbara, aka wolfgirl, and Boogie, the Boogieman's kid.

Frank Sr.

So at the moment I'm stealing Monster Squad until I can think of something a bit more creative but here is Frank Sr. He is the aging Frankenstein's Monster who is the bodyguard/muscle for the other kid monsters I am drawing up.

I thought it would be funny to draw a older Frank, old man pants, ear piece, 'seeing' glasses, etc. So here he is and hopefully later on in the week I can draw and color the other guys. See ya later then.

Boo Squad or 80s cult classic Monster Squad!

So I want to develop these characters into a cartoon, for reals this time! I wasn't able to color them yet so here are the inks I did. I'll post the colored version some time next week and maybe might redraw them but will see. So anyway here is the Boo/Monster Squad....I don't know what to rip off as a name just yet.
