Caricatures

I haven't done caricatures in over two months and was 'pushed' to draw some. The one on the top is Lily Allen and in my search for other caricatures of Lily Allen I sadly came up empty on finding any so it would be kind of cool to be the first one to do one of her. Of course I had to add the nip slip in her caricature since every celebrity blog I go to happens to have her revealing that certain area. The bottom two are 'suppose' to be Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker.
I've done Chan many, many times before and this is by far the semi-OK-decent-one of the man himself. Now Tucker on the other hand was a first and sadly will not be the last cause I really don't like how he turned out here. It was going so well until I add facial hair and thickening lines. All these were recommended by a friend since I didn't know who to draw right away. Hopefully I'll be doing some more caricatures in the future and place them on here and maybe I'll just wait another couple of months and do nothing.

GIMP

So, if I wanted to sell anything I do on the computer lets saying anything I draw in photoshop
I wouldn't be able too. Why? Because the educational copyright and the 'educational copyright'.
What I did was get my old friend GIMP that I used in high school so now I can paint and ink all my characters and comics now without worrying about the copyright hounds hunting me down.
Then you might say that they would not find out if the program is 'educational' but I assure you they will some how so better safe then sorry. The above pictures was just to mess around GIMP
again and its kind of how I remember it but some of the things in photoshop I would like to have in GIMP would be cool... like being able to change the brush tool around more but it still is a good cheap mans handy program. So until I get photoshop I'll do alot of my personal work on gimp or at school and say its from my demo reel.

The Unknown Comic...

Sadly It seems I haven't been on here for sometime again but thats because I didn't have a scanner and I was busy drawing in my sketchbook. The good ol' pencil and paper thing. So recently a friend and I have decided to make some kind of comic strip and book, after wanting to make one for mexican batman (pictures will be on  here soon). My friend just gave me descriptions and old designs that he did when he was a youngster and I ant-fied them. Above is two of the many, many, many characters to be done. A wrestling cat and some kind of ninja cockroach minus the ninja costume. Hopefully I'll scan in some sketches cause my eyes are getting messed up from staring at a computer screen all day.
